My Uncle Charles is there to greet me at the ferry at midnight. We toss my panniers into his car and I sprint behind him the 2.5 miles it takes to get to his and Claudia’s home.
I spend the next few days relaxing and seeing the Isle of Man by car. Not cycling? No, there is a constant 25mph wind, it rains every day, and it is cold. So nice to be indoors with some hot tea, good company, and the internet.
I will catch the Ferry to England tomorrow morning and begin cycling again.
Thanks Charles and Claudia for having me and showing me your dramatic windswept island.
